Open monumentendag

Last sunday it was "open monumentendag" here in Belgium. I kinda can translate it with open company day. It's a day where you can visit different factory's and so on, they show working processess and you always learn a lot on a day like that. In my town you could see 9 different company's quite a lot if you compare with Kortrijk, which is much bigger and you only could visit 3. You see where the working people live hahahaha.... (but I won't tell you I work in Kortijk).

In the morning we visited 3 company's.
FREEZYFLOR: a freeze-dry company, if you want a wedding bouquet that lasts forever, that's the place to be. We all got a little frozen-dried roze to take home.
RUVI SHOP: a place where they treat your clothes that are hard to handle.
DEKEYZER: a company where they make funiture, mainly kitchens and bathrooms.

In the afernoon we visited:
TRAPPEN VERSCHAEVE: a company that makes stairs. They produce 1600 stairs a year I heard.
GUIDO HERMAN: a stone and fire design company
LAVATRA: a place where they handle trash.

It was an interesting day, unfortunatly it was rainy all the time
