green butterfly

I never combined 2 challenges yet. But today I'm going to change that. The challenge on created by hand is about green. The challenge on wednesday stamper is about bugs. So, I came up with a green butterfly.

Nog nooit 2 challenges gecombineerd, maar daar brengen we eens verandering in. De challenge van created by hand gaat over het thema groen, die van wednesday stamper over insekten. Een groene vlinder is dus ideaal hiervoor.

gothic arch challenge - my doll and me

I created a little arch this time. I only had a little stamp of a kid with a doll, and I didn't find a good picture, so I came up with this idea. The arch is only 7cm/5cm (like 2 3/4 inch on 2 inch)

Hele kleine boog gemaakt voor de gothic arch challenge. Ze is zo'n 7cm/5cm, echt klein dus. Ja ik vond niet echt een plaatje dat ik leuk vond, en ik had nog een stempel liggen van een meisje met een pop, maar om die op een grote boog te verwerken.... nee. Vandaar....

TMTA - Zentangle

This week on the TMTA-site: zentangles. It's an artificial term for scribbling.

Deze week op de TMTA-site, maak een zentangle. Een zengtangle is eenvoudig te maken. Je zet een stempel op je blad en daarrond begin je te doodelen. Ik vind het nog zeer leuk om ze te maken ook overigens.

gothic arches - Paris

Well, I didn't stamp much the last couple of days, due to a very busy week. My collegue Sofie gave birth on tuesday to a nice little boy named: Brent. I already have a picture of the little baby, but I didn't ask permission yet to post it. After visting him and his mama, Els (my OT collgeue), Barbara (my PT collegue) and me went out for a nice souper on wednesday, so... no more stampingtime when I came home. Luckily I could do some stamping with my elderies at work this afternoon.
Yesterday I couldn't stamp at all, went shopping and then to dance class.
So you can imagine I did want to stamp at least something today.... so here's my entry for the gothic arches challenge.

De laatste dagen niet veel kunnen stempelen. Dinsdag is Sofie, mijn collega bevallen van Brent. We zijn hem woensdag gaan bezoeken, en nadien nog lekker wat gaan uit-eten. (we = Els, Barbara en ikzelf). Toen ik thuiskwam ben ik niet meer aan stempelen toegekomen. Gisteren trouwens ook niet, wat inkopen gedaan voor 't werk en mezelf, en daarna naar de dansles. Thuisgekomen, Koppen gezien en wat mails bekeken... en het wordt direct al laat. Maar vandaag heb ik eventjes wat verandering in de situatie gebracht. Hier zie je mijn bijdrage voor de gothic arches challenge. Het thema deze week gaat over Parijs. Leuk thema om mee te werken.

My entry for this week on the wednesday stamper challenge is this one. You needed to use an arrow. After some thinking I came across with the idea: circle of life... how do you like it?

Mijn bijdrage voor de wednesday stamper challenge deze week is deze collage geworden. De opdracht was om een pijl te gebruiken. Na wat denkwerk ben ik op het idee gekomen om de levenscyclus uit te beelden, van baby tot bejaarde. Zelf vind ik hem geslaagd, jullie ook?

It seemed ages ago that I still worked with watercolours, I made a pink background for this little princess. This is my enty for the created by hand challenge.

Even een oude verfdoos bovengehaald en met waterkleurtjes deze roze achtergrond gemaakt voor dit lieve prinsesje. Dit is mijn bijdrage voor de created by hand challenge.

Cards I made

With my spin and splash I made some cards today. I still had some silver blinky sticker paper that I once had bought in the USA a while ago. Today I tried it out and here you can see the results.

Met mijn spin en splash wat kaartjes gemaakt. Ik had nog zilver blinkend stickerpapier liggen, ooit eens gekocht in de States maar tot op heden had ik er nog geen gebruik van gemaakt. Vandaag dus wel, en dit is het resultaat geworden.

TMTA - Middle Ages

Middle Ages is this weeks theme on TMTA. I like the subject but it's not an easy one to craft with. I made 2 ATC's that fit together.
Middeleeuwen is het thema op de TMTA-site. Leuk thema vind ik, maar wel niet zo simpel om uit te werken. Ik heb 2 ATC's gemaakt die samen horen.

Crazy amigo challenge - newest addition

This weeks theme on the site of the crazy amigo's: use your newest addition. Not easy when you didn't go to the stampshow. Well, Christine did bring me a stamp that I had ordened, a backgroundstamp with spots. Well I used it in this creation and I also used some stamps that I had in my collection but hadn't tried out yet so far. Guess that's a good compromise, what do you think?

Gebruik je nieuwe aanwinsten is het thema op de crazy amigo site... Tjah... en wat als je niet naar Zeist geweest bent? Ik heb wel 1 stempel laten meenemen door Christine. Een achtergrondstempel met vlekken. Deze heb ik dan ook gebruikt in mijn kaartje. Verder heb ik zoveel mogelijk gebruik gemaakt van stempels die ik liggen had maar die ik nog niet uitgeprobeerd had, een goed compromis op het thema, vind je niet?

personal trade with Myriame

Myriame and I will do an ATC-swap with every letter of the alphabet. Today I received my A, B, C and D and a nice card additional. She really makes nice things. You can visit her blog here, and meanwhile see the ones I sended to her.

Myriame en ikzelf hebben afgesproken om een ABC-swap te houden. Iederen maand sturen we elkaar 4 ATC's op. Vandaag kreeg ik mijn eerste exemplaartjes in de bus. Ook kreeg ik nog een mooie kaart erbij. Myriame maakt echt mooi werkjes. Je kunt haar blog hier vinden, en daar kun je eveneens de ATC's zien die ik haar heb toegestuurd.

Naast enkele kerstbomen is dit de enige boom die ik heb in mijn verzameling als ik het goed voorheb. Meteen ook mijn bijdrag voor wednesday stamper. (Deze heb ik niet speciaal voor de challenge gemaakt,... soms is het wel handig als je al je werkjes inscant;) ). O ja, en kijk eens even bij de crazy amigo's ;) mijn kaartje is als voorbeeld op de site gezet.

My week-end

Yeps, we are monday again, but I did have a nice week-end. Saturdayafternoon I gave pathfinders and in the evening I was invited by a collegue.
Sunday we really had a great time. It was quite a while that Rien, Huguette, Griet and I had done something together on a sundayafternoon. We decided first to get together for lunch and went eating fondue... yummy.... after lunch we decided to go to the beach. We drove to De Haan and really had a nice time... luckily I always have my little camera with me, so we goofed off as you will notice. We ended our day with some sweet stuff... what do you think of a hot chocolate with crêpes with on top bananas and whip cream? To me it sounds delicious!


Ja, 't weekend vliegt voorbij, alweer maandag. Op zaterdag gaf ik leiding aan de vonkje en 's avonds werd ik uitgenodigd bij een collega. Zondag we supertof. We zijn met Rien, Huguette, Griet en ikzelf fondue gaan eten... lekker! Nadien nog eens even naar zee geweest. Ik had mijn camera mee, zoals meestal, en we hebben wat leuke kiekjes gemaakt. Toen zijn we nog een tea-room binnengestapt. Ik genoot er van een lekkere pannenkoek met banaan en slagroom en een kop chocolademelk. Heerlijk zo'n zondag...

april doet wat hij wil - free theme

This week it's a free theme on the crazy amigo's site. I prefer actually to have a subject, cause I always find it hard to come up with something when the theme is free. Well, I looked into my collection, and this is the ATC I will post for this challenge.

April doet wat hij wil... vrij thema bij de crazy amigo's. Ik heb eigenlijk liever een opgave, is veel meer een uitdaging voor mij. Ik heb dan ook niets nieuws gemaakt maar ben even gaan snuisteren in mijn ATC's die ik zelf hou omdat ik ze leuk vind.

Miles of smiles....

It was already a while ago that I scrapped a page. I'm more into stamping lately then into scrapping. But I know I should scrap more often if I want to get through my stack of pictures one day. Nope, just put them in a regular album is not an option! To help myself I did put a counter on my blog. One for making ATC's (which won't be a hard one to achieve, since I make them all the time) and one for making scrapbook lay-outs. I also think that I should show more often one of my pages since some people have me linked as a scrapper .... so here I go with a layout that I made this week.

Oh, and I can't help it, but I need to tell that I'm published on the sites of created by hand (1st time I participated there), Theme Thursday and 4x4 friday this week! Yeah, always pretty happy when that happens.


't Was weer al een tijdje geleden dat ik nog gescrapt had. Ja, ik heb het eigenlijk meer voor stempelen dan voor scrappen. Maar ik begin me te realiseren dat ik toch iets meer zal moeten scrappen als ik ooit door mijn stapel foto's wil geraken. En nee, ik kan en wil ze niet zomaar in een albumpje steken. Om mezelf wat te helpen heb ik 2 tellers op mijn blog gezet. Eentje om ATC's te maken (366 wil ik er maken tegen het einde van dit jaar, wat geen probleem zal worden, daar ik ze constant maak) een eentje voor mijn scrapbooklayouts. Daar heb ik de lat niet zo hoog gelegd, maar ik zou toch graag 1 spreak per week maken (of 2 losse lay-outs) dus heb ik de teller voor het gemak maar op 100 geplaatst. Ook weet ik dat ik bij sommige blogs ook als scrapster gelinkt sta, en dan is het ook wel leuker dat scrappers die mijn blog willen bekijken ook wat scrapwerk van me zien... dus bij deze.... hier een nieuwe lay-out.

O ja, en ik kan het niet laten, maar ik wil jullie ook vertellen dat ik deze week op de site sta van created by hand (het was trouwens de 1ste keer dat ik daar deelnam), bij Theme Thursday en bij 4x4 friday.
