Art journal and some humor

In the new "Scrap!" I read an article about making your own art journal.... it touched me right away, didn't think twice over it. I looked on youtube for some ideas, and I started working on my 1st page. I was inspired by valentine, because that's what everything is about right now.

I want to share some funny situations from what happened on my job as well.

We did some memory exercises with our elderies, and they needed to describe all things that had to do with our nursinghome. One eldery mentioned a gynaecologist.... I looked to him a little bit strange... and then he said, well you know... those people that give us exercises for arms and legs.... he ment the physiotherapists of course.

My collegue was working with another group, one question was, where can you find the statue of liberty... since no one answered right away, she tried to help: that man with prickles near the water...
Voor de Nederlandstaligen nog even vertalen, klinkt toch leuker in 't Vlaams ;) die laatste.
Mijn collega was geheugentraining aan 't geven en bij een van de oefeningen moesten onze bejaarden antwoorden op de vraag waar het vrijheidsbeeld zich bevond. Niemand gaf direct antwoord en toen hielp zij een beetje: die man met stekkers bij het water..... en voor degene die nog zouden twijfelen, het vrijheidsbeeld is dus wel een vrouw he!

De laaste zal ik er ook maar bijtypen want die kan ik ook niet zo direct in het Engels vertellen. Eén van onze liften op 't werk werkte niet: er plakte een blad op: "buiten gebruiken" ipv buiten gebruik. ;)
