We met in Wommelgem, and from there we drove togheter to 's Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. I was glad she drove, cause it took me already a bit more then an hour to get to Wommelgem.
It was nice to meet her, and when we were talking in the car, I found out that she's studying for occupational therapy, that was a nice surprise ... lol, what else did we have in common? lol.
The fair was big, and I loved it. Finaly a fair for just paperstuff. Mostly when you go to fairs here, you have all kind of hobbies they promote, like making jewelery, etc.... but I'm only into crafting with paper. I just loved it.
At studio Kuuks we were ablo to trade our ATC's. I also had brought mine to trade. I didn't trade all of mine, I need to admit that I'm kinda picky... I also trade some with Katrien.
It was really surprising to me when I looked in one of the albums that were laying on the table. There you could see all kind of ATC's but they were not for trading. The thing that was cool was that I found one back in those albums that I had made.
The shopping part was the hardest part. There's so much I wanted to buy, but I couldn't buy all what I wanted. Well, one day maybe, when I'll marry a rich man... (kidding).
After the shopping we made a little album with enveloppes, it was for a project. The books we made will be given to kids that are for a long time in the hospital. So they can add familypictures, etc.. in the little album, I thought this was a neat idea. The project is called: scrap a little sunshine (http://scrapalittlesunshine.blogspot.com/). I really liked this idea, since those kids will have a nice little book, and we meanwhile learned a new technique.
Well, guys, I will finish for today, my hands just want to do some more stamping;)
Katrien and me having our lunchbreak... (there were so many people at the place we had to lunch that we even didn't have a table to sit on)

Showing the books Katrien and I had made for the project: scrap a little sunshine. (picture taken by Katrien)
The goodies I bought... mainly stamps... of course, ... I'm addicted I guess....
God bless
Veerle

't Ziet eruit alsof jullie een schitterende dag gehad hebben. Ik kan niet wachten om je creaties te zien.
I can see you had a good time at the show. I'm glad you had fun and for your sake that there was only paperstuff there. Also the scrapalittlesunshine.com thing sounds like the Christian thing to do for some kids, and fun too for scrappers and stampers like you.
Take care.
